Master Mindfulness Good News for Diabetics In a recent study, the American Asso- ciation of Diabetes Educators taught mindfulness techniques to 28 veterans with diabetes. Over three months, they found improved glucose levels and an average 41% decrease in diabetes-related distress. Diabetes affects more than 25% of the one million veterans who have received care in the United States.
