For a stor y on the subject, the famous T V repor ter at tended a mindfulness retreat with Jon Kabat- Zinn—and it changed his life. Cooper has since incorporated meditation practice into his routine, and said he can already see how mindfulness has affected his day-to-day experience. Comfort Food Therapists and psychologists are increasingly prescribing a tasty treatment for depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues: cooking. Often par t of a more ex tensive regi- men, cooking and baking have found their way into therapy because they draw focus away from negative thoughts and toward something goal-oriented, enjoyable, and educational.
